Userfarm is excited to announce our newest campaign with the United Nations – “Your Climate Change Story”.
The Fijian presidency of the COP23 climate conference, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNPD), have involved Userfarm’s filmmaker crowd to gather stories worldwide on what climate change is and how we can fight it.
We are looking for stories that show the impact of climate change on local communities and on nature. They also want instances of people and organisations working on finding solutions to limit climate change while adapting to its consequences.
This project is inspired by the Talanoa Dialogue, a UN-mandated process to take stock of global efforts to reduce the emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases and to build greater resilience to the impacts of global warming.
The videos from the crowd will help the political leaders participating in the UN climate negotiations to better understand what Climate Change represents for people across the planet.
And the top 5 selected videos will receive a reward for the total amount of 12,000 Euro.
Participative creativity becomes an amazing tool to make global warming awareness a top priority.
Videos must be submitted by the 19th of November, 2018.
